Com a técnica adequada, qualquer alimento que você preparar na pedra de sal rosa do Himalaia ficará perfeitamente temperado. O tempero da pedra impregna ainda mais no alimento de acordo com sua textura e o tempo de cocção na pedra.

A pedra é indicada para selar e grelhar cortes de carnes e vegetais, conferindo cor dourada a estes. Caso queira servir alimentos crus na placa, por sua apresentação, pincele um pouco de azeite na superfície e disponha os alimentos sobre o azeite. Para alimentos grelhados, uma vez a pedra quente, ela não necessita de óleo ou azeite para cozinhar.

Instruções de aquecimento (tarda 40 minutos)

Para aquecer sua pedra de sal rosa do Himalaia, você precisará de um forno a gás, lenha, ou uma churrasqueira com brasa. No caso de utilizar o forno elétrico, coloque um anel de metal entre a placa e a superfície do forno de aquecimento, evitando o contato direto.

Aqueça sempre a pedra totalmente seca. Coloque a pedra no forno a fogo baixo. Após 10 minutos aqueça o forno a fogo médio. Após mais 10 minutos aumento o forno ao fogo alto. Passados demais 10 minutos, a pedra estará pronta para ser usada. Para grelhados que requerem alta temperatura, você pode inclusive deixar a pedra ao forno em fogo alto por 10 minutos extras.
